Below is a list of the range of Techniques that I use to help with individual athletes. After an initial assessment I will decide which range of these techniques will be the most beneficial to you to help achieve your goals.
Myofascial Release – Myofascial Release is a slow deep soft tissue technique that looks re-aligning structural balance by manipulating the bodies Connective Tissue (Fascia). It is an extremely effective technique that can provide you with long-lasting changes for many conditions:
Including:
Musculoskeletal re-alignment
Postural Correction
Low Back Pain
Arthritic Conditions
Sports Injuries
Deep Tissue Massage (Sports Massage) – Sports Massage is considered by many Elite and Recreational athletes as a fundamental part of their training routine. Sports massage helps the body to function better allowing you to train harder, prevent injuries and recover quicker!
Benefits Include:
Improved Circulation
Reduced Stress Levels
Increased Flexibility
Boosted Immune Function
Dry Needling – Acupuncture performed directly into the belly of the muscle where a muscular Trigger Point is located can provide you with a permanent and immediate release. This is a more comfortable and accurate way to achieve the desired neuromuscular response leading to faster recovery times.

Neuro Muscular Technique– When a muscle is either held in a position that it is uncomfortable with or it is forcefully contracted beyond its range a muscular Trigger point can develop. This small band of contracted muscle tissue can lead to a restricted range and ability of the muscle to contract. By applying deep ischemic pressure to the point the therapist can allow the body to release this band returning your muscle to full capacity.
Kinesio Taping– Kinesio Taping when used in conjunction with Sports Therapy techniques is an effective way to treat injuries, prevent pain and improve performance. The art is in the assessment of muscle range and the application of the tape. This combines to give you a mixture of comfort, support and lymphatic drainage.

Taping and Strapping – Taping and Strapping can help to provide the body the support it needs either pre or post Injury. It can limit joint range preventing the body further discomfort or potential injury.
IASTM & IANSM – Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization and Instrument Assisted Neuro Sensory Massage is a very effective technique that uses a range of Stainless Steel tools to help Massage and manipulate the tissue improving soft tissue dysfunction.
